State of The Union

Written By: D’be-D’be

Bill Walker was sitting alone in his den deep in thought. He was going over in his mind what Tom Fletcher and he had discussed, when Walker had gone over to his home after finding out from his Brat that he had come out to his wife and parents. Robbie also told him he was going to come out to his Cabinet before the Inauguration and then to the American public during the February State of the Union Address.

After much discussion, Walker told Fletcher that he was contemplating coming out as well and if he did, he would resign his office and return to private life, so he could move into the White House and the two lovers could become a public couple.

Fletcher asked Walker if he felt his Brat was really mentally prepared for what was about to come about and he suggested that Walker take him to their private retreat.

Walker and his fellow Top, Fletcher, had wanted a place for a long time where Tops could send their Brats when the Tops felt things may be getting a little out of control. It would also be a place where Tops and Brats could go to rejuvenate both physically and mentally.

The facility would be open to a select group of Tops and Brats. A group that lived a very stressful and public life but for one reason or another kept their lifestyle somewhat private. The client list would consist of politicians from around the world, high profile leaders of industry, Hollywood celebrities, sports figures, etc.

The cost of staying at the facility would not come cheap either, but they would get their money’s worth.

The two men traveled around Maryland and Virginia for just the right spot and when they came across this old plantation in rural Virginia, they knew they had found exactly what they were looking for.

The property consisted of what was called in the slave days as ‘The Big House’ which was a three story colonial brick house that sat in the middle of the property. In the back were a large number of cabins and a huge barn.

They kept the big house almost exactly the way it was, but added an in-ground pool connected to the back of the house. It was well-lit and fenced in with glass panels that had a retractable roof with solar panels so the pool could be used all year round. They kept a few of the cabins and the barn for various uses. One was turned into a hospital facility, another was a private cabin in case a situation demanded privacy, they also had a cabin set up for counseling sessions and the fourth was for staff and security. Where the other cabins were torn down, a gym was built that would hold every type of training equipment one could imagine, a sauna and handball court which would be used mostly in the winter when the tennis courts were not in service. A huge garden was planted which included paths with benches and live birds that could be heard throughout the gardens. The walking trails were updated to add biking and jogging trails in the warm weather and ski-do and cross country trials in the winter. Walker also worked out a deal with the farm next door to allow his guests to use the neighbor’s horses and trails in case some of his guests were into equestrian hobbies.

They felt there was little work to be done in the main house. The only thing they added that wasn’t in the original structure was soundproofing for every room and modern day hookup for Internet and other business machines.

Since the main idea for this plantation would be interaction, all Brats had to stay in the main house to socialize and interact together. They had to have all their meals together as well as help with the cleaning up and other chores around the place. The only time they would go to the private cabin was if circumstances warranted it.

The house had a wrap-around porch where the guests would sit at night sipping drinks like mint juleps and in the winter it was covered in and heated so the guests could also sit outside with hot cider or hot toddies. When one entered through the main door they came into a wide entrance hall which lead into a parlor, dining room, library and a couple of common rooms that held televisions, computers, video and board games. In the back of the dining room was the kitchen where a well-trained staff could whip up any type of food depending on who was staying there at the time. In the center of the hall was a huge, wooded staircase that led to the top floor.

The top floor consisted of four big bedrooms. Walker and Fletcher decided that’s all the guests they wanted to stay at the retreat at one time. If the guests had extra staff they could be put up at the local hotel at the guest’s expense. The four suites on the top floor offered their guests comfort, security, elegance and romance.

The largest suite located at the back featured an oversized king bed with a European feather mattress. It had an antique sofa and rocking chair as well as a huge fireplace. The huge windows also offered a beautiful view of the plantation. The private bath consisted of an old fashion claw tub that was perfect for intimate or soothing baths. The suite across the hall held a queen-sized bed, sofa, and love seat. It, like the other rooms, had a fireplace and private bath. This bathroom also contained a claw tub. It also had a great view of the trails and gardens. The two suites in the front of the house were furnished with double beds, and love seats. They also had smaller fireplaces along with a private bath. Their windows looked out at the luscious green grass of the front lawn as well as flower-beds and other picturesque sites.

The basement was equipped with a fully stocked wine cellar as well as huge refrigeration units that held the many groceries needed to prepare the various types of meals on the menu.

The property also had a gatehouse that was manned twenty-four hours a day for obvious security reasons.

Walker and Fletcher knew if this type of retreat was going to work they would have to hire a well-trained, discrete staff and they did just that. There were top chefs from all over the world. Professional sport trainers, highly trained councilors and medical staff were also hired along with maintenance workers, gardeners, cleaning staff and other grounds-keepers.

They also knew they couldn’t be there to run the retreat so they hired ex-Marine, Colonel Chris Hughes, to take charge, and take charge he did. He had a no-nonsense, take no bull personality. He did not care if the Brat was a world leader or a big celebrity. If they broke the retreat rules they would be disciplines in one form or another. He also had no qualms to set the Tops straight if he felt they needed a good talking to. He believed in the Marine Corps Core Values: Honor, Courage, and Commitment, and he made sure the Brats under his command followed these rules. When a new Brat came to the retreat for the first time, Hughes would take them into his office and give them a sheet of paper on which was written the Core Values which he modified somewhat to fit the lifestyle. He also strongly recommended that they follow these values.

Honor: Obey the law or rules of the retreat and most importantly your Top. Lead by example, respect yourself and others, maintain a high standard of integrity, uphold trust and confidence, and honor your Top.

Courage: Is the mental, moral and physical strength he wanted to ingrain into the Brats. If the Brat is in shape both physically and mentally it will carry him through the challenges of life and help him overcome fear, it will also help him cope with the tough decisions the Tops have to make for them with less stress.

Commitment: This will prepare the Brat to realize the full commitment of his relationship and the strength to accept the discipline his Top must administer. It will help prepare the Brat to be more aware of his actions and to try and maintain the discipline to commit to the rules.

After their meeting with Hughes, the Brats knew exactly where they stood with the Colonel. He also made it quite clear to them that their Tops had given him full authority over them when the Tops weren’t there, which meant he could and would discipline them. This would include a spanking if necessary.

Shaking his head, Walker picked the phone and placed a call to Hughes. After two rings, a gruff voice stated ‘Talk to me!’

“Hi, Chris, this is Bill Walker.”

“Well, Mr. Vice-President, to what do I owe the pleasure of this phone call? Are you coming up this weekend?”

“Yes, Chris, I am and I’m finally bringing my Brat. I feel it’s time he gets the full service the retreat has to offer and, Chris, my Brat is a very important and special individual.”

“Oh yeah, who is he? A senator or member of the cabinet?”

“Ah no, Colonel, he’s the Commander in Chief!”

After a few seconds Walker again heard the gruff voice, “Your Brat is President Pierce?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Well I’ll be damned!”

“Colonel, will you have a problem disciplining him, if it comes to that?”

“Hell no, Bill, if your Brat disobeys one of the rules I set out, he’ll find himself bent over my desk just like any other Brat!”

“That is very reassuring, Colonel, because something tells me he’s going to be a handful. He’s used to being waited on hand and foot and getting his own way about everything in his public life. The only rules he follows are the ones I set out for him and during the Presidential campaign he really pressed the envelope. Also there is going to be a couple of major changes in his life that he’s going to have to deal with, so he has to be prepared for that as well.”

“Well, as you know, you’re sending him to the right place. Will he be here for the whole week and are you staying with him?”

“Yes, he’ll be there for the whole week. The press will be told he’s going into seclusion so he can make some major decisions about his administration for his second term. I’ll be dropping him off Friday evening and will only stay overnight. I’ll be in Washington for week and will come back next Friday and stay until Sunday.”

“Perfect, we’ll be ready for him.”

“Colonel, does the retreat have any other guests this weekend?”

“Yes, as a matter of fact, two other Brats will be here. A baseball player and a television star whom thinks he’s more important than God. It should be interesting to see how they react when they sit down to breakfast with the President of the United States.”

“Chris, it may be hard for him at first to socialize with anyone else being who he is, so maybe I should stay until after breakfast on Saturday.”

“Bill, you know that will defeat the whole purpose of him being here. I know your instincts are to protect him and that’s admirable, but for his own good, as well as yours, stick to your original plan. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of him.”

“You’re right! I mean that’s why Tom and I set up this retreat, so I better lead by example.”

“You got it! We have our own security, as you know, but I’ll make room in the guest cabin for a few members of the Secret Service, because heaven knows we don’t want to break any Federal Law that states wherever the President is so shall the Secret Service be.”

“Thanks, Chris. See you on Friday.”

“Semper Fi, Bill. Take Care.”

Now that was settled the fun part was about to begin. Telling Robbie that he was being taken to the retreat. Pierce knew enough about the retreat to know he didn’t want to go, but that was neither here nor there, he was going even if his Top had to tie him up and drag him.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

For his part Pierce was going over potential names for Cabinet posts in case some of his administration got upset by the news he was about to give them in a couple of weeks.

He was having a hard time concentrating and he knew he was cranky. He was snapping at his staff, which wasn’t like him at all but because of the stress of coming out, he was fighting feelings one gets when losing control. He also came very close to being disciplined on several occasions by his Top at Camp David this past weekend. It got so bad the weekend was cut short when Bill dragged his butt back to Washington early Sunday morning.

It was now Thursday afternoon and Walker had called to tell him to clear his schedule for the evening because he was coming over. Pierce was more than willing to do so, for the fact that Brat and Top had not spent that much time together since last weekend. He was also a little nervous as to what Billy wanted to discuss. He sounded so serious on the phone. Looking at his watch, he decided although it was only 4:15PM, he’d had enough of this office for the day. So after talking to his Chief of Staff, he left for his residence. He took a quick shower, changed into his favorite sweat pants and T-shirt, then ordered a sandwich and a pot of coffee from the kitchen. After he ate he decided to watch the news until Walker arrived.

Walker arrived at exactly 7:00PM. He took Pierce into his arms and held him close. He rubbed his back and kissed his lips with soft seduction.

“Mmm, that was great,” Pierce purred as he pulled away.

Walker took his hand and led him to the sofa.

“Did you want something brought up from the kitchen, Billy?”

“No, Slugger, everything I want is right here beside me!”

Pierce smiled and placed his head on Walker’s shoulder. “You’re sweet, Billy.”

“Yeah, I’m a real treat. Sit up, Robbie, we have to talk.”

“Gee, that sounds serious. What about?”

“Why I want you to clear your schedule for next week.”

“Am I in trouble?”

“Not in the way you think, Slugger, but you are preparing to walk down a very difficult road, a road I’m not sure you’re ready for. You’re really showing signs of stress since you came out to your wife and parents, and if you think your mother’s reaction was bad wait until you let the world in on your little secret.”

“So are you telling me I should wait a while before coming out?”

“No, what I am telling you is that you need to be more mentally prepared for what lies ahead. Also since a strong body goes along with a strong mind you need to be physically prepared as well. That said I’m sending you to my private retreat in Virginia next week.”

“WHAT….NO WAY!” Pierce shouted as he got to his feet.

“It’s not up for discussion, Robert. The decision has already been made. The press will be receiving a press release tomorrow stating that you are going into seclusion to write your Inaugural address and to make some major decisions on your cabinet appointments.”

“How dare you do something like that without discussing it with me first.”

“Listen, Robert, I expect you to remember who the Top is in this relationship.”

“And Mr. Vice-President, I want you to remember I am the President of the United States and when it comes to matters that concern running the country, I make those decisions.”

“This has nothing to do with that and you know it. It has to do with your state of mind right now and how you are trying to undermine my authority and I will not tolerate that. Discussion is over! You are going to the retreat!”

Pierce regretted his tone of voice and his next action the second it happened.

“Yes, the discussion is over and I want you to leave. You are dismissed!” He walked over to the door and began to turn the handle.

Walker, with a smile on his face and a look of authority in his eyes, walked over to his Brat and pulled his hand off the door handle. In one swift movement, he was seated in the adjacent chair, had pulled his Brat’s pants and shorts down and had him over his lap.

Slap after slap echoed off the walls of the residence along with the wails as hand met bare skin. It was only after he heard the deep sobs of his Brat and his pleas for mercy that Walker stopped, lifted his Brat unto his lap and stated, “Now, the discussion is over!”

With arms around his Top’s neck and head on his shoulder, Pierce continued to cry deep sobs for several more minutes before lifting his head up to look into his Top’s eyes. “Oh, Billy, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what got into me. I know I deserved that spanking. Can you forgive me?”

“It’s already forgotten, Slugger.” Walker gently pushed his Brat off his lap and led him to the phone. Walker dialed a number and after a few rings received an answer.

“Colonel Hughes, please hold for the President of the United States. He has something to say to you.”

Before handing the phone to Pierce, Walker put his hand over the mouthpiece and said, “Tell him you look forward to meeting him tomorrow night and that you also look forward to your week at the retreat.”

Taking a few deep breaths to regain control, Pierce took the phone from Walker. “Hello, Colonel Hughes, it’s a pleasure to speak to you and I wanted to say I’m looking forward to our time together next week.”

“I look forward to that as well, sir. See you tomorrow night. Good-bye.”

After saying his farewells, Pierce handed the phone back to Walker, who after a few more moments of conversation said good-bye as well. He turned his attention back to his Brat. “Okay, Slugger, let’s get you packed. All you’ll need is a few pairs of jeans, some T-shirts, some work out clothes and runners, as well as a bathing suit. Your sleepwear and personal items will be in your room waiting for you.”

As Top and Brat worked in unison to get the packing done quickly so they could move on to more important matters. Pierce turned to his Top and asked, “Billy, are you going to stay with me at the retreat?”

“No, Slugger, that would defeat the purpose. I’ll take you there and stay the night but will leave before breakfast. I’ll spend next weekend there with you.”

“I don’t like to be in a strange place by myself.”

“Oh you won’t be by yourself. Besides the Colonel and the staff, there are going to be two other brats there. A pitcher for the Texas Rangers and a high profile Television star, so you should enjoy yourself.”

“I’ll be treated differently though right? Because after all, I am the President.”

“I know you’ll be sorry to hear this, Slugger, but when you drive through the retreat gates, titles and honors are left behind. You won’t be the first world leader to stay there. By the way, here’s some more information for you. Colonel Hughes has full authority from all the Tops to take disciplinary action when necessary. That can range from time outs, lines, and even a good old fashion spanking if necessary, and believe me, Slugger, you don’t know what a real spanking is until you’ve been spanked by a Unites States Marine.”

“YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING! NO WAY! FORGET IT!”

“There’s that attitude again, Slugger.”

“Attitude…Attitude…you accuse me of having an attitude. First you tell me, not ask me, but tell me I’m going to this special retreat of yours, and now you tell me some gun-ho Marine has the right to spank me. I DON’T FUCKING THINK SO!”

“Watch that mouth, mister!”

“Oh, you don’t like me fucking swearing? What are you going to do about it?”

Although Walker knew that Pierce was acting like this because he was scared to death of what lay ahead, that didn’t prevent him from doing what he knew had to be done. He grabbed his Brat by the scruff of the neck and led him into the bathroom, where he proceeded to wash his mouth out with soap. He knew Pierce wouldn’t open his mouth voluntarily, so he placed his thumb and forefinger over his nose so in order for him to breathe, he had to open his mouth. When Pierce’s lips parted, Walker took the bottle of liquid soap and squirted some into his Brat’s mouth. Pierce began to cough and gag and his eyes began to water as the vile tasting liquid wrapped itself around his tongue.

“All right, now, spit it out!” Walker commanded.

Pierce didn’t have to be told twice. At first soapy suds came out, but after a few rinses with cold water, the soap and the majority of the taste was gone.

“All right, now brush your teeth and get ready for bed!” Walker turned on his heals and left the bathroom.

Walker was already in bed when a sheepish looking Pierce came and stood in the bathroom doorway. With a tremble in his voice and shaky hands fumbling with the buttons on his pajama top he looked over at Walker.

“I’m really sorry, Billy. I guess I really do need that retreat. As usual you know exactly what’s best for me.”

Flipping the blankets back and tapping the bed next to him, Walker invited Pierce to join him in bed.

Pierce, with eyes still lowered, walked over to the bed and held out his hand to Walker who took it and pulled him down next to him and took him into his arms.

“Robbie, everything I do is in your best interest. That’s what one does when someone loves someone else more than life itself.”

“Before you, Billy, I always had to look out for myself. I never had anyone who really looked out for my interests. Oh, I thought my mother did but I soon realized all she was looking for was her own personal place in the spotlight. And of course, there was my darling, soon-to-be, ex-wife who thought being the First Lady was the only important thing in life and used me to get what she wanted. No, Billy, til I got together with you, I never knew anyone like you existed.”

“I love you, baby.”

“Oh Billy, I love you too!”

Walker kissed him and at the same time turned out the light. Since they would be a week apart they took their time satisfying each other’s needs and after they were both fully satisfied, they fell into a deep, restful sleep spooned together in the middle of the bed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Secret Service were informed of the Presidents plans, so they could look over the security at the retreat to make sure it met with their approval. When they were satisfied they sent word to the Vice-President that all was secure and the trip was a go. Therefore on Friday evening at exactly 7:00PM, the presidential limo was waved through the security gate and made its’ way down the long winding drive way until it stopped in front of the main entrance of the big house.

Colonel Hughes was waiting for them on the porch. Walker got out first followed by the President. It took all the self-control Hughes had not to salute his Commander in Chief because if he did so he knew he would be undermining his authority. Instead he walked down the stairs and stretched out his hand for a welcoming handshake.

“Welcome to Rainbow’s End, Robert. Please follow me to my office while the staff takes your belongings to your room. There are a few things we have to go over before we get you settled in.

After the three men had made themselves comfortable in Hughes office and after coffee was served, Hughes turned to business.

“All right, Robert, here is the list of values and rules I expect you to follow while you are here. The other sheet is your itinerary. As I’m sure William told you, I have his permission to discipline you and if you break any of these rules, miss or are late for any one of the events listed on your itinerary, you will be disciplined.”

Pierce looked over the sheets handed to him and nodded his head in acknowledgement but remained silent.

“Do you have any questions, Robert?”

“Not at this time.”

“Not at this time, Sir!” Hughes repeated.

“Excuse me?”

“You will address me as Colonel or Sir when I speak to you. Is that clear?”

Pierce swallowed the response that wanted to come out. Instead he chose on the side of caution and said, “Yes, Sir! Very clear!”

“That’s better, Robert. Now why don’t I take you on a tour and then I’ll show you your room.”

“Thank you, sir, that would be nice.”

The tour took about an hour and although Walker knew the facilities like the back of his hand, he went along for support. When it was over Pierce was shown the room at the top of the stairs. Pierce expressed how impressed he was with the facilities then thanked the Colonel for the tour.

“I’ll be right back, Robbie,” Walker told his Brat. “I just want a few minutes with the Colonel,”

“That will be fine. See you in a bit.”

Making their way down the stairs, Walker asked, “Do you think he’ll be alright ?”

“He’ll be fine, William. Every Top is apprehensive the first time they leave their Brat here but you beyond anyone else know the great work we do here. I mean, after all you set it up.”

“You’re right. I guess I’m just a little nervous on how he’s going to react to all this military discipline. I mean you’ve read his file and you know what happened to him in military school.”

“You’re not giving Robert enough credit, William. He’s a smart man. He knows the difference, so don’t worry about it. You also know if he is feeling apprehensive about it, the councilor will pick up on it and that it will be discussed in their private sessions.”

“Once again you’re right and in my mind I know that, but in my heart, well you know.”

“Yes, William, I do. But don’t worry, we’ll take good care of your little Brat. I’ve never lost one yet.”

They both laughed as they parted company: Hughes to his office and Walker to Robbie’s room.

While waiting for Walker to return, Pierce had taken the opportunity to go over his schedule for the week. It was very structured, every minutes was accounted for it seemed. He read it out loud to himself.

7:00AM: Breakfast
7:45AM: Cleanup
8:30AM: Walk
9:30Am: Council session (private)
11:00AM: Free time
12:00PM: light lunch
12:45PM: Clean up
1:30PM: Swim
2:30PM: Rest period (snack)
3:00PM: Work out (gym, tennis etc) up to individual
3:45PM: Shower
4:00PM: Group session
5:00PM: Do assignments given by councilor (common room)
6:00PM: Dinner
7:00PM Clean up
7:30-9:00PM: Social time (movie, games, talking on porch etc)
9:00PM: Prepare for bed
9:30PM: Lights out

There was an asterisk at the bottom of the page that read; Schedule can only be changed by Colonel Hughes or your councilor. Any change by Brat without consulting the above-mentioned individuals will lead to disciplinary action.

Walker heard his Brat whistling as he came into the room.

“What’s up, Slugger?”

“Man, that’s some schedule. I thought Amanda was tough keeping me on a tight rein, but she could take lessons from this man.”

“Well, you know what they say about idle minds. Anyway, how do you like your room?”

“It’s beautiful and like I said before, I’m impressed with the whole layout. You and Tom did a great job with this place.”

“I’m glad you’re pleased. Well, Slugger, according to your schedule you should be in bed by now, and since I don’t want to get you in trouble your first night here, let’s hit the showers and then the sack, okay?”

After the shower Top and Brat spent the night cuddling in each other’s arms. Walker had set the alarm for 4:30AM in order to be up and gone before breakfast. When it went off he untangled himself from his sleeping Brat, kissed him gently on the lips and slipped out into the early dawn. Before he left he made sure to reset the alarm for 6:00AM.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pierce awoke with a start at the sound of the buzzing in his ears. Realizing it was only the alarm clock, he sat up and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. It took a minute for his brain to sort out the confusion he felt when he awoke. He soon came to realize where he was and the fact that he was alone in bed. Looking over at the clock he saw it was now 6:15AM. He jumped out of bed, used the washroom, then showered, shaved and dressed in a pair of blue jeans, T-shirt and sneakers. Although it was early November the house was nice and warm so a sweater was not needed, not at the present time anyway. He did his best at making his bed. It had been a long time since he had to do such menial tasks, so he was a little out of practice, but he gave it his best shot. When he was satisfied it looked all right, he brushed his hair and made his way down to the dining room wondering if the other Brats had arrived yet. His question was answered when he spotted two familiar faces sitting at the table. Pierce noticed the expression on the two men’s faces go from shock to disbelief then finally awe when they realized whom the third place setting was for. They both stood up in unison and managed to squeak out, “Good Morning, Mr. President.”

Being used to this reaction Pierce did his best to make the two men feel at ease. He put his most charming smile on his face. The smile that went to his eyes and showed his sincerity when he told the person he was happy to meet them. He held his hand out to the baseball player first. “Hi there. You’re Ted Fraser, aren’t you? Nice to meet you, Ted.” Then letting go of Fraser’s hand and taking the other man’s he stated, “I know who you are. I watch your show as often as my schedule permits. You’re Barry Coleman. How are you?”

Seeing they were still standing, Pierce chuckled, “Why don’t we all sit down. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m starving.”

Awkward small talk filled the room until exactly 7:00 when a man dressed in chef apparel came through the door with a dolly cart. It held three glasses of orange juice, as well as three plates filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, as well as two pieces of buttered toast. The jam and other condiments were on the table. Two urns, containing coffee and tea, were carried out by other staff members and place on a side table. When the plates were placed in front of them, the men dug in. It was delicious but the mood was tense. Pierce’s presence and the fact that the men now knew the President of the United States was involved in a gay disciplinary relationship, wasn’t helping matters much. He tried to carry on a normal conversation about their schedules and the retreat in general but the men for the most part just nodded or answered in one or two word syllables. He was happy to see Colonel Hughes come in the dining room at 7:45.

“Okay, boys, you have forty-five minutes to help clear the table, wash the dishes and put them away. Then grab a coat out of the closet and meet me on the front porch at exactly 8:30.”

“Yes, Sir.”

The two Brats being uncomfortable seeing the President wash dishes did most of the work. Robbie for his part put the dishes away in the cupboard, then followed the other men out to the porch. The head of the kitchen staff made a mental note to herself to report this incident to the Colonel. The President had to carry his share of the work and he sure didn’t do that this morning.

Colonel Hughes was waiting for them on the porch when they exited the house. “Okay, it’s a lovely day, take a walk down the trail, get the kinks out. Breath the great country air, then at 9:30 meet me in front of Cabin one. Thank you.”

As the three Brats made their down the winding path trough the trees they made small chit chat. It was mostly about baseball and life in Hollywood. Again Pierce felt left out of the conversation unless he asked a specific question. He felt out of place and all of a sudden an overwhelming feeling of loneliness enveloped him. He checked his watch and was relieved to see it was time to turn back.

As Hughes watched the three Brats coming out of the woods he took in their body language. Fraser and Coleman were laughing and joking, while Pierce had his hands in his pockets and head down. It was obvious by his stance he was feeling a bit isolated. He would pass this information on to Fraser and Coleman’s councilors. They had to stress to them to treat Pierce like any other person. He was no different than they were. He had the same wants and needs from his Top as they did from theirs. They had to stop thinking of him as the President. Hughes had great confidence in the councilors’ ability to get that through to them. He would also let Pierce’s councilor know how he was feeling in case he didn’t bring it up.

“Did you have a nice walk, fellows?”

“Yes, Sir, it was very refreshing.” Fraser jumped in with his opinion.

“Very good. I hope you other boys feel the same way.” Seeing them both nod in agreement, Hughes continued, “All right, boys, follow me. Fraser, your councilor is waiting for you in Cabin one. Coleman, you’re in number two. Pierce, your councilor is waiting in Cabin three. Have a good session and I will see you at 11:00.”

Pierce knocked on the door and stuck his head in. “Hello is anyone here?”

“Yes, Robert. Please make yourself comfortable on the couch or chair, whatever you prefer. I’m just answering nature’s call and will be right out.”

Pierce took the big overstuffed chair in front of the window and looked outside at the garden, which now was beginning to bloom with winter flowers.

He heard the sound of the toilet flushing then looked around to see a giant of a man standing in the middle of the room.

“Do you have to use the facilities, Robert, before we start?”

“No, Sir. I’m fine.”

“Cut that Sir business out. That’s only for the Colonel. You can call me Dean, okay?”

“Okay, Dean. I’m fine, but I could use a glass of water or something if that’s all right?”

“Sure, there’s plenty of bottled water in the fridge there. I also carry juice and milk, so whatever your preference, help yourself.”

“Water will do just fine, thank you.” Pierce got his water then sat back down.

“So, Robert, what do you wish to talk about this morning.”

At first Pierce didn’t say a word then the feelings of loneliness and isolation that enveloped him on the walk came back to him. He voiced this feeling to Dean who in turn just listened and nodded his head. He asked a few general questions but all in all he let Pierce do all the talking.

When the session was almost over, Dean looked over his notes before turning to Pierce. “Robert, I can sympathize on how you feel. But it’s only been a half a day, and it takes time for people to get to know each other. Give them a little time to get used to who you are, and if things don’t improve over the next day, I will bring it up with their councilors or we can bring it up in group, okay?”

“Okay, I’ll give it time.”

“Good! Now it’s almost 11:00 and you know how our beloved Colonel wants you all to keep on schedule, so be off with you and I’ll see you this afternoon in group.”

“Thanks Dean, and is it all right if I use your washroom now? That water went right threw me.”

“Well, that answers that mystery.”

“What mystery?”

“Does the President of the United States ever have to go to the bathroom? Wait until I tell the National Enquirer.”

Pierce burst out laughing as he headed for the washroom. When he came out, Dean was waiting for him at the cabin door. Dean gave him a gentle hug and sent him on his way.

For his free time, Pierce went up to his room and caught up on the news by reading the Washington Post he got off the hall table. Although he was out of Washington it was still important that he keep up on world events just in case. Everyone seemed to behaving themselves which was a relief to Pierce, he didn’t feel like handling any major crisis right now. As a matter of fact he didn’t feel like dealing with the isolation of his fellow brats, so he called down to the kitchen to let them know he wouldn’t be coming down for lunch. In doing so he completely ignored the no changing the schedule rule, but he didn’t think it would be all that big of a deal. As usual he was wrong. At 11:45 Pierces reading was interrupted by the presence of an angry Marine. He didn’t even bother knocking, he just walked right in and slammed the door behind him.

“What’s this I hear? You’re not going to grace us with your presence at the lunch table?”

“I won’t be missed.”

“That is not the point, Robert. You are not to change the schedule. It was made that way for a specific reason. Now before you carry your butt downstairs, I want you to go walk over to the bureau, place your elbows on the edge and stick that little butt in the air. As stated, breaking of the rules is followed by disciplinary action.”

Not moving fast enough to satisfy the Marine, Pierce felt himself being drug over to the bureau by his shirt collar and put in position. He then felt a hard hand coming down on his butt. It felt like he was being spanked with a hard paddle but it was only Hughes’ hand. He jumped and moaned every time the hand slapped one cheek then the other. He said a thankful prayer that his blue jeans were cushioning some of he blow because if he was bare-skinned, he wouldn’t be able to stand the onslaught.

“OWWWWW…..OWWWWW….OWWWW….PLEASE, SIR…I’M SORRY….PLEASE, STOP….OWWW” Pierce cried out as tears flowed down his cheeks.

Hughes stopped then pulled him up. “All right, little Brat, go wash your face and get control of yourself. And by the way I was informed that this morning Ted and Barry did most of the cleaning up, so along with this spanking you just received, you will wash and dry all the dishes yourself. The other Brats will put them away, understood?”

Realizing there was not comforting forthcoming, Pierce walked into the bathroom, washed his face as he was told, took five short breaths, then rejoined Hughes in the bedroom.

“Are you ready for lunch?”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Fine, let’s go.”

Pierce had difficulty maneuvering the stairs. Every step caused his shorts to rub against his sore butt. ‘Sitting is going to be a challenge!’ he thought to himself.

Ted and Barry were waiting for him and they looked at each other when they noticed how Pierce was walking and the red in his eyes. That seemed to be all it took for the two Brats to realize that although this man standing in front of them was the leader of the Free World, he still got his butt reddened just like they did. It was like the tension wall was lifted and Pierce was accepted as one of them.

“Hey, Robbie, it’s quite obvious by the way you’re walking you got on the Colonels bad side,” Barry offered.

“You could say that. I didn’t want to come down to lunch.”

“That was partly our fault, wasn’t it, Robbie? Barry and I are both sorry about how we treated you this morning. We were just a little overwhelmed by the office I guess, but it’s obvious you’re just like us.”

“You don’t know how happy I am to hear you say that, Ted, and thank you too, Barry.”

“Does he hit hard?” Barry asked.

“You don’t know the half of it. I hate to see what my butt looks like. I’m sure it’s as red as a lobster, it sure feels that way. All I can say is thank God he let me keep my jeans on. If not, I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to walk or sit for a day or two, so you guys better behave.”

Lunch consisted of a variety of sandwiches and a vegetable tray and dip. The conversation was light and fun filled. Pierce could feel himself starting to relax.

When lunch was over they carried the dishes into the kitchen and Barry began to fill the sink.

“No, guys. I have to wash and wipe the dishes since I wasn’t much help at breakfast. You guys have the privilege of putting them away.”

“That wasn’t your fault this morning. We didn’t think you should be doing menial jobs like that.”

“Thanks for the thought, Ted, but I have to do my share as well. So come on, let me do this, okay?”

“Fine, go ahead. Are you sure you know what you’re doing?”

“Come on, guys. I wasn’t born President, I am capable of doing chores you know.”

“Yeah,” Ted put in. “But weren’t you born rich so you had servants and everything to do that stuff?”

“Point taken, but it can’t be that hard. Come on, let me show you.”

Pierce put hot water in the sink and added the dish liquid, then after setting the dishes in the water he thought maybe he needed a little more soap. He added a little more soap then tuned on the cold water because the water was to hot. He got distracted for a moment and before he knew it, soapsuds were cascading out of the sink and down unto the floor.

“Oh, sweet Washington!” Pierce yelled out. “Quick, guys, get me a mop!”

“Shut off the water tap, Rob, before you have a flood!” Barry yelled on his way to the utility closet.

Instead of turning the water off, in his state of panic, Robbie turned the cold tap the wrong way, which caused more water and more soap to escape. One of the cooks hearing all the ruckus and with a pile of clean linen in front of her so she couldn’t see the floor, came into the kitchen and in one swift motion she went ass over kettle, landing directly at Pierce’s feet.

‘AAGGHHH!” She let out a scream as water began running between her legs and a drop of soap fell on her nose.

“We’re in shit….we’re in shit!!!!” Pierce kept saying as he helped the lady off the floor with one hand and grabbed the mob with the other. Seeing the President of the United States with soap-soaked jeans trying unsuccessfully to wipe up the mess, a maid screaming at him in Spanish and a pile of dirty dishes bobbing up and down in the little bit of water that was left in the sink, was more that the two Brats could handle. They fell to their knees in a fit of laughter, holding their aching stomachs as they watched their fellow Brat in action.

“Come on, guys. Quit laughing and lend me a hand, would ya? Please!”

“Do you think we should, Ted?”

“I don’t know, Barry. It looks like he’s got things under control, just like his tax bill.”

“Very funny, guys! Pleeeaaase, before Hughes comes marching in ready for war. I don’t think my butt could take another hit right now”

“Well, since you put it that way, we’ll help, but only to protect your little butt,” Ted teased as he grabbed the mob from Pierce. Barry grabbed the dishcloth and soon made clean of the dishes. Pierce wiped them off quickly and put them away. With one minute to spare, the majority of the mess was cleaned up. The maid came into the kitchen with Colonel Hughes in tow still ranting in Spanish. All Pierce could understand was el presidente, but he got the jest of what was being said.

“Well, Robert, Rosetta tells me that you took it upon yourself to scrub the floor along with doing the dishes. Is that right?”

“That wasn’t the plan, sir, but that’s what ended up happening.”

“Yes, I can see that. Well, Ted, Barry and Robert, since you tried to keep this incident from me and since you have already had your fun in the water, you will not need to have your swim at this time. Instead you will stay here and each of you will write me an essay on how one goes about washing dishes. And to make sure you don’t forget a step, I have a manual here that explains it all in easy-to-understand terms. You will copy it out three times if you don’t mind, then we can all meet on the porch at 2:30. Is that clear, boys?”

“Perfectly, Sir.”

“Very good! Gentlemen, if you will follow me to your rooms.”

Lagging behind, Ted managed to whisper, “Well at least our butts are safe from harm.”

Pierce smiled to himself as he started to write out his assignment. ‘Two disciplinary actions in less that two hours. Boy I’m off to a flying start,’ he thought to himself as he began to write. ‘Billy won’t be to pleased.’

The rest of the day went smoothly. Pierce joined the other two Brats on the porch for a snack then they went to the gym and fooled around with some weights and the basketball. When it came time for group therapy, all men were in a good mood. The two Brats told the councilors how they felt being around the President but because of certain circumstances they got to see that he was just like them. They also discussed the kitchen incident and how comical Pierce looked. All and all the councilors were pleased that all three seemed to be getting along. Dinner went well and everyone this time pitched in to help. They spent their social time playing Trivia Pursuit, and by the time 9:00PM came all three Brats were more than ready to hit the sack. Colonel Hughes made it a point to visit all three individually before they turned out the lights. When he got to Pierce’s room he knocked once before entering. He found Pierce in bed reading a spy novel.

“That’s a good one. I just finished it myself.”

“Yes, Sir. I love reading this type of stuff. You’d think I’d have enough of it in real life but fiction is better that fact some times.”

“Well, Robert, you had quite a day. How do you feel about things?”

“I feel a lot better this evening than I did this morning. Ted and Barry have finally accepted me and in spite of the discipline, I did enjoy making them laugh in the kitchen.”

“Yes, well I have to admit I did peek in before the whole mess was cleaned up and it was very amusing to see, but you know discipline still had to be carried out.”

“Yes, Sir.”

“Good! Now have a good sleep and I’ll see you in the morning.”

“Good night, Sir.”

“Oh and one more thing, Robert. I will be coming up before breakfast to show you the proper way to make a bed. I let it go this morning, but you only get one free pass around here.”

“Yes, Sir. Thank you, Sir. Goodnight.”

Hughes shut the light off and bid him goodnight.

By the fourth day Pierce was feeling so much more confident in himself and in group session when he told everyone who his Top was and his plan about coming out. Everyone was so supportive and gave him such encouragement, he knew he could follow though. He also knew it wouldn’t be easy, but he knew he was up to his next challenge, which was to tell his Cabinet about his decision. He didn’t expect a great reaction from some of them, but with the help of the councilors, the two Brats and Colonel Hughes, he knew he was strong enough to do it.

He also grew closer to the two Brats and he knew he had made life-long friends. He even held Barry in his arms after Barry had to live though a disciplinary session with the Colonel. Pierce found Coleman in the back room crying his eyes out after the Colonel had spanked him for being over thirty minutes late for group session. Knowing how it felt to cry and not have the comfort of one’s Top to get you through it, Pierce offered Coleman his shoulder. Coleman accepted with gratitude and for ten minutes, Pierce held his fellow Brat and rubbed his back until control was regained. Nothing brings two Brats together than that common bond. He invited the two men along with their Tops to the White House or Camp David after the Inauguration. Pierce found out during a group session that Ted’s Top was the owner of his baseball Team and that Barry’s Top was the producer of his television show, so it would be a very entertaining visit.

Finally Friday arrived which meant Billy was coming. Pierce couldn’t wait. He had managed to get through the whole week with just one more disciplinary session when he slipped down to the kitchen in the middle of the night for a snack. That cost him another butt bruiser, so all in all it wasn’t a bad week. His temper tantrums were under control and he felt a whole lot better about himself. He couldn’t wait to share all this with his Top. Barry and Ted had left with their Tops earlier that afternoon, so once again Pierce found himself alone but not for long. Around 5:00PM, he spotted the familiar limo pulling around he bend. He flew off the steps and directly into Walker’s arms, kissing him and talking at the same time.

“Wow! Easy, Slugger, slow down!”

“It’s just that I’m so happy to see you and I have so much to tell you. This place is just want I needed. As usual, you were right!”

“Did you need discipline?”

“A couple of times and, man, can that Colonel ever spank! But I’m over that and things are looking up.”

“I look forward to reading the report.”

“Come on, let’s get my things. I want to go home now.”

“No, Slugger, we’re staying the weekend. I want to discuss a few things with a councilor. There are things I need to iron out as well.”

“Do you want to talk about it?”

“Let me discuss it with the councilor first, okay, Slugger? Now let’s go upstairs so you can give me a proper welcome.”

On Saturday, Pierce took advantage of the peace and quiet to do some paperwork Walker had brought with him that needed the President’s attention. Walker spoke to both the councilor and Hughes about his coming out as well as the notion of resigning as Vice-President. They all agreed this would be the best thing that could ever happen for him and Robbie. It would give Pierce the final security he was looking for. And once and for all, there would be no more conflict of interest between position and private authority. They could move in together and stop this sneaking around. With that settled, Walker gathered up his Brat and the two made their way back to Washington. At first Pierce was shocked and became very emotional when Walker told him of his decision. Everything was finally working out, now his only hurtles were his Cabinet, The United States Senate and Congress and the American People. Of course, there was always the thought of his mother hovering in the back of his mind. She was going to blow her wig when all this information came out. It was going to be a very interesting Thanksgiving in the Pierce household this year.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A week after the President came back from the retreat he called a meeting of his full cabinet. He and Walker discussed the agenda and they both decided they would come out to the cabinet together. It would give the Cabinet the opportunity to advice the President as to whom should replace Walker as the Vice President, which would have to be done before the Inauguration. A press release would also have to be formulated to report Walker’s resignation to the American people. Walker also met with the White House legal council to draw up a confidentiality agreement. All cabinet members would have to sign it and guarantee that the news would not leak out about the Pierce and Walker coming out. That news would come from the President himself at the State of the Union Address.

At 8:00 Monday morning the cabinet members began to arrive for the 8:30 meeting. They all thought the purpose of the meeting was to find out who was staying on for the second term and who would be leaving, either by their own choice or the President’s. Everyone had just finished their coffee when the doors opened to admit Pierce and Walker. All stood until the men took their seats in the middle of the oval table.

Walker noticed Pierce’s hand was trembling as he reached for his glass of water. He put a reassuring hand on his leg and gave it a squeeze in a comforting gesture. Pierce placed his hand over his Tops to say thank you. Finally Pierce gathered up his courage and cleared his throat to alert the men and women looking at him in anticipation he was ready to start.

“Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for coming. I know you are probably expecting me to announce my cabinet for the next term and I will be getting to that in a moment but before we do, there is something of grave importance I have discuss. No, I mean that the Vice-President and I have to discuss with you.”

Pierce took a deep breath and looked over to Walker for a sign of approval. Seeing that and so much more in his Tops eyes, he continued. “For the last few years, Bill and I have been carrying on a gay relationship.”

At first Pierce was met with stunned silence then as the reality of what the President had just confessed sank in, the room began to hum with various tones from his cabinet. Some were yelling that it was a sin, some were giving the President and Vice-President words of congratulations and encouragement, while others just kept saying over and over that shit was going to hit the fan.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” Pierce continued. “I know you have a thousand questions which Bill and I will do our best to answer, but first and foremost I want to lay a few things on the table. First, effective immediately Bill is tendering his resignation as the Vice-President. Second, if any of you can’t live with the fact that your President is gay, I want your resignation as well. Thirdly, I am ordering all of you to sign a confidentiality agreement that what was said here, will stay in here. It will be me who announces the news of my lifestyle to the American public. I don’t want any press leaks. If any one of you breaks the agreement, you will find yourself behind prison walls. Be assured the agreement, was drawn up by the White House Council so it is legal and binding. Last but not least, I will be coming out at the State of the Union Address in February. Now hands up. Who doesn’t want to serve your President for his second term?”

The Secretary of Education was the first to speak. “Mr. President, I can not believe you would be doing such a disgusting thing. You are immoral and will rot in hell. I cannot in good consciousness, stay here knowing you are living such a life.” He grabbed a pen and signed the agreement. “You will have my resignation on your desk by this afternoon. I will state personal reasons for not remaining.”

Pierce was fighting the lump in his throat and the tears that were threatening to spill from his eyes. What if they all felt that way? The only one he knew he could count on was his Secretary of State Tom Fletcher, but what of the others? His fears suddenly began to melt away as only two other members echoed the Secretary of Education’s sentiments. He lost his Secretary of Agriculture and Secretary of Veterans Affairs. They also signed the agreement and told the President their resignations would soon follow.

Three out of twenty was not bad. The Secretary of Defense was the first of the ones remaining to speak. “Mr. President…Robert…I think what you just did was the bravest thing I have ever witnessed and although I do not follow your lifestyle, I fully support your decision to come out. Hey, love is love no matter where you find it.”

Pierce couldn’t fight the tears any longer. He got up and with silent tears streaming down his face, approached the rest of his cabinet and in turn gave them all a small hug or handshake.

“Does your wife know, Mr. President?” the Secretary of Labor asked when Pierce had reseated himself.

“Yes, we discussed it right after the election. We were planning on getting a divorce anyway. She hasn’t been happy in our marriage for along time and just agreed to stay until after the election. We are parting friends and she will always be an important part of my life. My parents also know and I know I can count on their discretion until I come out on my own.

“I know this is none of my business, sir,” the Secretary of Energy spoke up. “But I just have to know. Call it woman’s curiosity or my romantic soul, but is Billy going to move into the White House with you?”

Walker turned to his colleague with a grin on his face. “Yes, Madeline, I am. But only after the State of the Union to avoid suspicion and rumors.”

“Oh, that’s so wonderful! I’m so happy for the both of you!”

“I must admit,” Pierce spoke again. “I thought there would be more opposition that this. I thought most of you would walk out. I can’t express how pleased I am to see most of you decided to stick it out.”

“Mr. President,” Fletcher spoke. “We are loyal to you and we believe in what you stand for. We all know just because you’re gay, it won’t change your beliefs and values. You are still the same man you were yesterday, nothing has changed.”

The tears began to fall again as Pierce gave Fletcher a warm embrace.

“Thank you, Tom. Thank you all! Now that that’s settled, we have a few seats to fill. Any suggestions?” A few names were bantered about and the President stated he would interview them to make sure they understood what they would be up against. It was also decided that Tom Fletcher would replace Walker as the Vice-President and that the head of the National Security Council would take Fletcher’s place. So if all met with Senate and Congressional approval, Pierce would have his new cabinet in place before Inauguration. When everyone had left and he and Walker were alone, Pierce threw his arms around Walker’s neck and began crying in earnest. Walker allowed his Brat to cry the tension and fear out of his system. It had been a rough morning but he got through it and now he had to prepare him for the next hurtles: Thanksgiving and his mother. Walker sat down and pulled Pierce into his lab and held him close against his chest until the sobs stopped. Walker kissed the tears away then placed his lips on Pierce’s for a deep passionate kiss.

“Hey, Slugger, you were great! I’m so proud of you!”

“It went so much better than I had planned and the fact that Tom is going to be the Vice-President just reassures me ten-fold.”

“Yes, he’ll be perfect. He can keep you grounded and at the same time be a great asset to you in the cabinet room and on the world stage.”

“Did you have anything to do with him accepting the position?”

“Well let’s just say, Tom and I had a great discussion about the pros of you having another Top keeping an eye on you.”

“Yeah! Well to be honest with you, I kinda like the idea too.”

“We thought you might. Now, Mr. President, we have still have a country to run, so what do you say we get back to work.”

The week preceding Thanksgiving was taken up with filling the cabinet positions. There was also that pesky trouble with the Middle East and of course domestic problems continued to creep up. Pierce managed to stay out of trouble and he didn’t have to get disciplined once. Lying in bed next to Walker the night before they were to leave for Texas and Thanksgiving with Mommy Dearest, Robbie lay on his back and stared at the ceiling. He began to smile as pure happiness and love filled his heart when he heard the deep breathing coming from the man lying next to him. His hand slipped under the covers and reached between Walker’s legs. He rubbed and manipulated the organ until it stood to full attention. He laughed out loud as Walker moaned and reached for him. He slipped his hands under Pierce’s legs and lifted them over his shoulders. They made sweet love until they lay in each other’s arms spent and content. They fell back to sleep as the sun began to peek out of the eastern sky.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The President’s limo turned into his parents’ driveway Thanksgiving morning. They weren’t in the house more than five minutes when his mother began her nagging.

“Robert, why is Walker here? He is not family and Thanksgiving is just for family.”

“Mother, Bill is here because I want him here. He is my best friend and since he has no family of his own, I thought it only proper that he spend the day with us.”

“For Pete sake, Margaret,” Robert Sr. spoke up. “You know Bill is welcome in our home anytime.”

“Well I think he’s spending to much time with him. It doesn’t look right.”

“What doesn’t look right, Mother Pierce?” Robbie’s soon to be ex-wife asked as she came into the room and gave her husband a hug.

“Hi, Betts. I’m glad you could come,” said Pierce.

“Well I couldn’t do anything else now could I, with the press parked outside the fence? What would the public say if the First Lady didn’t spend thanksgiving with the President.”

“Ha, ha….I see your point. Thanks!” Pierce returned the bantering as his mother left the room.

“You’re welcome. Uh, where’s Bill?”

“He’s on the secure phone in the limo with another crisis somewhere. You know it never stops.”

“Margaret is in a real snitty mood and I think she suspects something is going on between you and Bill, because she heard from one of the Senator’s wives that you and Bill spent last weekend together at Camp David.”

“That’s why she’s so upset about him being here. Well tough shit to her. She better get used to having him around because after February he’s moving in with me.”

“Oh, my God! I’d love to be a fly on the wall when you share that bit of news with her.”

Pierce was about to answer her when Walker came through the main entrance. “Everything all right with the world, Bill?”

“Yes, Mr. President. The temper tantrum in the Middle East has been taken care of for the time being anyway. Oh hi, Betts. Nice to see you again.”

“Thanks, Bill. You too.”

The three then went into the den to join Robert’s parents for before dinner cocktails and to watch a little of the football game on television. Actually, Pierce was one of the few men in Texas that was bored out of his skull with football, but Walker adored it so he just sat down in the corner chair and grabbed a magazine. Finally the maid came in and told them dinner was ready. The table looked marvelous. It was covered with a beautiful fall colored tablecloth. Candles were placed in strategic locations along the table. Bowls of potatoes, sweet potatoes, turnip, carrots, corn and several bowls of gravy and home made cranberry sauce were scattered about and of course there was the chef’s special dressing that only he could make. When all were seated, the turkey was carried in and placed in front of Robert Sr. After a prayer of thanksgiving was said, he carved the first piece then handed the knife back to the waiter, who in turn cut meat for all the occupants. Plates were also made up for the Secret Service Agents who were housed in the guesthouse. Both white and red wines were served to meet everyone’s tastes and for dessert there was pumpkin pie and whipped cream. It was a feast made for a king or a President as a matter of fact.

After dinner, Robert Sr., Margaret and the First Lady went back into the den to watch some more football. Pierce stepped out on the back porch for some fresh air. He was joined shortly by Walker. After a few minutes of polite conversation, Walker pulled Pierce into the corner and began kissing him.

“Now that’s what I call dessert,” he whispered softly as he continued to kiss and caress his Brat. “I can’t wait to get you into bed and do some stuffing of my own tonight, baby boy.”

“Oh God, Billy. I want you so bad, I can’t wait!”

As they kissed again they heard the sound of broken glass and both turned at once to see Margaret Pierce standing there with her mouth hanging down to the floor. She began to cry and scream at the same time, causing such a ruckus, the Secret Service came barreling out of the guesthouse thinking someone must be attacking the President. Robert Sr. and the First Lady also came running out of the den and stood in stunned silence at the scene ahead of them.

When Pierce saw the armed men running towards the house, he stepped out of the shadows to let them know everything was fine and he waved them off.

Margaret Pierce walked up to her son and with one swift movement she slapped him hard across the face. She hit him so hard it left a red mark on his cheek. She then grabbed him by the ear and began pulling him towards the stairs.

“You are possessed by the devil, but when I’m through with you I will have beaten this evil out of you. And as far as I’m concerned, Mr. Walker,” she screamed as she turned her head to look at Walker. “You have raped my son for the last time. I want you out of my house, you sick son of a bitch!”

Pierce was trying to free himself from his mother’s grip but she was so out of control it seemed she had the strength of four men.

“Mother, please stop! You’re hurting me! Please stop! Billy and I are in love!”

That stopped his mother in her tracks only for Robbie to feel her full wrath with two more hard slaps across the face.

“Margaret,” her husband yelled. “You will let go of that boy, right now!”

“No, Robert! He had the devil in him and it must be exorcised!”

Walker had never felt such anger in his life as he made his way up the stairs. His Brat was cringing with fear and pain it made his heart ache. He took the steps two at a time until he stood in before the raging lunatic in front of him.

“You will let go of him right now, you crazy bitch, or so help me God, I will hit you so hard your wrinkles will be behind your head instead of all over your face!”

No one had ever talked to her like that before and for a minute she stood completely still, then thinking it was just an idle threat she kept dragging her son up the stairs.

Walker made one move towards her and slapped her hard across the right cheek. She screamed out loud but didn’t let go of Robbie just yet.

“Now listen here, Mother,” Walker smiled as she cringed at him calling her that endearing name. “I love your son and to prove it I resigned as Vice-President so in February after the State of the Union Address we can move in together. Now if you don’t let him go, I will hit you again and believe me it will be even harder than the first time.”

“Robert, are you going to just stand there and let this man hit me like this?” She cried out to her husband.

“If you don’t let Robert go right now, I won’t only let him continue to hit you, I’ll give him a hand. Now LET HIM GO!”

Margaret Pierce looked into the eyes of Walker and knew by the look he was giving her that he meant every word. He would do bodily harm to her if she didn’t let her son go.

When she saw Walker raise his hand once more, she let Robbie go and ran up the stairs with her husband in close pursuit.

Pierce flew into Walker’s arms and held him so close, Walker was sure he could hear a couple of his ribs cracking.

“Let’s get out of here, Billy. I want to go home. Please, can we go home?”

“Yes, Slugger, in a minute. I still have some business with your mother. Why don’t you go back in to the den with Betts and wait for me. Elizabeth, will you take care of him for me.”

“You know I will, Bill. Come on, Bobby. Let’s go get a cold cloth and I’ll wash your face, then I’ll fix us both a drink.”

Pierce followed his wife into the den without argument. He turned to see Walker make his way up the stairs and down the hall to his parents’ bedroom.

Walker knocked on the door once, then entered. He saw Margaret Pierce on her knees on the floor praying for the soul of her son. Robert Sr. was sitting in the big chair looking at her with disdain.

“Margaret,” Walker started. “Now I don’t want to interrupt your prayers but before we leave I have one more thing to say to you. As I stated before, I love your son and we will be moving in together. Now if you still want to share his life, you will accept that he and I are a couple. You will be welcome in our home at any time. However if you keep insisting that he is the devil, along with all that other nonsense, you will have to stay as far away from him as possible. Another thing and believe me when I tell you this, if you EVER and I mean EVER, lay another hand on him, I will not be responsible for my actions. I know people who can make you disappear and believe me, I’ve done that sort of thing before. Do I make myself clear?”

The woman was looking up at him in fear as she nodded her head in the affirmative.

“Good! Now that that’s settled, I am taking Robbie home. Robert, it was good to see you again and I look forward to seeing you both Inauguration Day.” After shaking the man’s hand, Walker turned on his heal and. gathering Pierce from the den, left for the airport and the flight back to Washington.

In the private bedroom of Air Force One, Walker held his Brat close. He told him what he had discussed with his mother. Pierce agreed with Walker’s actions. Walker could feel his Brat’s body tremble in his arms and held him as tight as he could and spoke words of comfort.

“Take it easy, Slugger. She won’t be bothering us again and I’ll make sure she behaves herself at the Inauguration. Let’s concentrate on getting you ready for the State of the Union. I mean now that your mother knows about us, telling the nation will be a piece of cake.”

Pierce felt himself getting sleepy. Between the stress brought on by his mother and the big meal he ate, it was hard to keep his eyes open. He let the warm comfort of his Top’s words woo him to sleep as he began to draft the State of the Union speech in his mind.

The weather on January 20th was bleak and wet. A cold rain was threatening to turn into snow. The finishing touches were being carried out on the grandstand where the Inaugural speech would be given, and the last security check for the parade was in its final stages.

The weeks leading up to the Inauguration were a blur to President Pierce. There were congressional hearings for his cabinet positions, the writing and re-writing of his speech, and then there was the big press blowup on Vice President Walker’s resignation. Rumors and half-truths were bandied about on all the major news networks and in the newspapers. Because of the close scrutiny, Robbie and Billy couldn’t spend as much time together as they would have wanted to. Walker really didn’t have a legitimate reason to be at the White House since his resignation so they could only see each other on a few weekends at Camp David. To make sure the press didn’t question why Walker was still visiting the President at Camp David, Pierce made it quite clear to the media that although Walker was resigning his position as Vice-President, he and Walker are still very close friends and that would never change. He also stated that Walker would be sitting on the grand stand at the Inauguration to witness Tom Fletcher being sworn in as the new Vice-President.

The First Lady who had spent the night at the White House along with Pierce’s parents, made her way into the Presidential suite to see if she could be of any assistance in helping her soon to be ex-husband get dressed. She knew from past experience, he couldn’t knot his own tie by himself no matter how many times he tried.

“Robbie, do you need my help?” she asked as she knocked on the bedroom door. She noticed the room was empty. She began move towards the bathroom when she turned to see Walker making his way through the door.

“Hi, Betts. Where’s our man of the hour?”

“He must be in the bathroom. I just got here myself.”

“Going to offer to knot his tie, are you?”

“You, too/” They both laughed as they walked towards the bathroom. They both stopped suddenly when they heard the sounds of someone being sick.

“Hey, Mr. President, it’s Elizabeth and Bill. Are you all right?” Elizabeth Pierce followed Walker into the bathroom. They both witnessed the same thing. The President of the United States kneeling in front of the toilet bowl throwing his guts out.

Seeing no one else was in the room, Walker went into Top mode. He knelt down beside his Brat and rubbed his back until there was nothing coming up but dry heaves. He then took him in his arms and began to rock him in a comforting gesture. Elizabeth grabbed a facecloth and after running it under the cold tap, she handed to Walker then stepped out of the room. She knew Robbie was in excellent hands and her presence was no longer needed.

Walker took the cold compress and pressed it to Robbie’s forehead, then he gently began to clean him up. Walker said a silent prayer to himself that Pierce was still in his bathrobe so the new suit Billy bought him was still safe. When he had his Brat all cleaned up and he was sure he wasn’t going to be sick again, he helped Pierce off the floor and into the bedroom.

“Hey, Slugger, what caused all this now?”

“Nothing……ah just nerves, I guess,” Pierce replied

“Are you sure? Did your mother do or say anything to you last night or this morning that would cause this?”

“No! Both Dad and Betts made sure she behaved herself. As a matter of fact, I’ve hardly seen my mother since she arrived. So no, Billy.”

“Okay, Slugger, then it was something else that caused you to be sick, because I’ve never known you to be nervous about making speeches in public before. So come on, fess up. What’s up with you?”

“Fine! If you must know, I really missed you last night and well, I couldn’t sleep…so I got into the wine…and I guess I overdid it…please don’t be mad at me. I’m sorry!”

“Robbie, you know the rules about drinking. We both know you can’t hold your liquor.”

“I know Billy, but…but …I was lonely and scared about today, and of how mother is going to behave and all. I know it sounds like excuses and it probably is, but what’s done is done, right?”

Walker could hear the note of hope in his Brat’s voice at the thought that maybe Walker would let this matter of rule breaking pass for this one time.

“Well, Robbie, I know you think I should let this incident pass, but you know I can’t do that. I’ll tell you what I can do though. I can put it on the back burner for now. We can discuss this little matter at a later date, when things have settled down, agreed?”

“Thanks, Billy. I appreciate it and I promise I’ll be very careful tonight. I’ll just take small sips of the champagne when they offer a toast at all the Inaugural balls.”

“I’ll hold you to that, Slugger. Because if you go back on your word, you’ll find it extremely uncomfortable holding your cabinet meeting in the morning. Do I make myself clear?”

“Perfectly! Now come here and give me a big kiss then help me with this damn tie.”

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The day couldn’t have gone better. The weather cleared up and although it remained cold, the rain had stopped and the sun had come out. The speech went well and his mother could have gotten an Oscar for her performance as a proud and loving mother. They all attending the six various balls that evening and for the most part everything ran smoothly. Pierce kept his word and just took a small sip of the champagne as the glasses were raised in his honor. He and his wife even got the crowd oowing and aahing as they took the floor for the traditional dance. They were both aware of how fast the mood would change next week when they announced their divorce, but for now they just enjoyed the moment and each other.

At one time Pierce caught Walker’s eye as he swirled The First Lady across the floor and tears welled up in his own eyes as he saw so much love and pride reflected there.

After all the parties and congratulations and pats on the back were over, The President and First Lady made their way back to the White House. Pierce’s parents had left for the airport directly after the second ball so at least Pierce didn’t have to deal with his mother any more for awhile.

When they got back to the White House, Elizabeth went back to her private room, leaving Pierce to walk into his bedroom feeling very much alone. That feeling soon was lifted when he walked in to find his lover lying on top of the bed. A big grin came over Pierce’s face as he made a mad dash for the bed.

“Oh, Billy, how did you manage to get in here without being seen?”

“Hey, I still have friends among the Secret Service.”

“Oh, Billy, I’m so glad you’re here. There’s nothing I want more than to feel you inside me tonight. It will be the perfect ending to a perfect day.”

They quickly undressed each other and made passionate love, then reluctantly Walker told Pierce he had to leave.

“In less than two hours the Chief Steward will be waking you up and the last thing we want him to see is you and I in bed together. That will come later, agreed?”

“You’re right as usual, Billy. Will I see you at Camp David this weekend?”

“You can count on that, Slugger. Now untangle yourself and let me out of bed.”

With one final kiss the two reluctantly parted ways. In exactly two hours the President heard a soft knock on the door. He watched a tall, stately, black man enter the room and with almost cat like movements, move over to the windows and opened the drapes. Pierce moaned and slowly pushed himself into a sitting position.

“Good Morning, Mr. President. I hope you slept well.”

“Yes I did, Johnson. Thank you. Is the First Lady up?”

“Oh yes, sir. She was up and hour ago and her driver took her to the airport forty-five minutes ago”

“Thank you, Johnson. Give me thirty minutes to shower and shave then you can bring me up the usual breakfast along with all the morning newspapers.”

“As you wish, sir.” With those words, the President found himself alone once more. It always amazed him how the White House staff was so discreet. The stories they could tell of all the things that went on behind closed door, but they went about their work and minded their own business.

At 7:30 am President Pierce found himself in the Oval Office ready to begin his second term in office.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was only two weeks until the State of the Union address. Elizabeth and Robert Pierce sat together on the huge sofa in the main residence of the White House. They held each other’s hand to give each other support and strength to handle what was about to take place. With one final check of hair and makeup they were ready for the special news bulletin they were about to take part in. As the director counted down the seconds before air time, they both took a deep breath then put on their best smiles for the camera’s

“Ladies and Gentlemen, the President and First Lady of the United States”

Pierce began to speak. “Elizabeth and I would like to thank you for letting us come into your living rooms this evening. We have made an important decision in our private lives. We have discussed at great lengths the proper way to inform you, the American People. We both agreed this was the best forum to announce the finalization of our divorce. It wasn’t a decision we arrived at lightly, but we both knew our lives together as a couple was drawing to a close. We still love each other and will remain good friends but to have continued with our marriage would serve no purpose. It is our wish that you will find it in your hearts to understand and support our decision. As far as my presidential duties are concerned you have to believe this divorce will not effect them in any way. Thank you for your time.”

The couple hugged each other when the director gave them the cut signal, then without any fan fair, Elizabeth Pierce turned and walked out of the room to pursue her private life with the new love of her dreams.

Pierce was now counting the days until the State of the Union when he would break the really big news to the American People. He had only fourteen days to go, and every day seemed longer than the one before. If only he had the power to speed up the hands of time.

The next day found him in a bad mood despite the polls showing that the majority of the voting public admired him and the First Lady for being so frank and not giving in to political pressure to stay together just for show. Maybe it was the fact that he didn’t get much sleep the night before or the fact that he was having one hell of a time writing the State of the Union speech, but whatever the problem, his mood was leading him down the path of disciplinary action. It began simply by snapping at his Chief of Staff, Amanda Williams, over a mistake in his agenda for the day and developed into a full-blown temper tantrum over a television interview from a well-known evangelist about the President’s pending divorce. Tom Fletcher had just entered the Oval Office only to be almost hit in the face by a paperweight that Pierce had flung across the room.

“That two faced son of a bitch! How dare he call me a sinner when only last year he was discovered coming out of a seedy hotel room with a prostitute on his arm. He’s a fucking idiot!”

“Mr. President, I suggest that you calm down and refrain from using such language.” The new Vice-president strongly suggested.

“Oh fuck off, Tom! You have no right to tell me what to do.”

“Oh is that right? You know that for a fact, do you?”

“Yeah, I do!” Again Pierce went back to his raving over the news report. “Listen to him, would you. Saying now that I’m a divorced man, I’ll be too busy pursuing women to run the country properly. Isn’t that a laugh! Well the joke’s on you, you dumb asshole!”

“All right, Robert. That’s enough! If you don’t calm down this instant, I will be forced to carry out one of Walker’s orders to me.”

“And what order is that Tommy?” Pierce asked sarcastically.

“To discipline you in his absence if things got out of hand.”

“You wouldn’t dare!”

“Keep carrying on this temper tantrum of yours and you’ll find out soon enough.”

Pierce made the mistake of not believing that his Top would entrust the discipline of his Brat to another Top. If he stopped to think for a minute he’d come to realize that who else would Walker trust with carrying out such an act, if not a fellow Top who he trusted fully to do what needed to be done when he wasn’t around to do it himself. Walker had asked Fletcher to take care of his Brat while he was in Texas, getting his business back in running order. He gave Fletcher permission to carry out any discipline he felt was necessary, just as long as the only thing he used was his hand and that he kept his Brat’s pants on. Fletcher agreed with these terms and up till now he didn’t have to follow through on his promise, but it was obvious by the way Pierce was acting a good sound spanking was about to take place.

Fletcher gave him one more warning, and when that was ignored, he locked the doors to the Oval Office. Next, he calmly hauled Pierce over to the couch, where he pulled him down over his lap and preceded to give him a hard bout of discipline. He didn’t stop until the screams of the President echoed from the walls and tears of pain could be heard in his voice.

“OWWWWWW,…..OH GOD, TOM….PLEASE…..OWWWW. OWWWW, I GET THE MESSAGE…I’M SORRY….OWWW….I’M SORRY…STOP…OH PLEASE, STOP!!!”

Fletcher pushed Pierce off his lap then pulled him down to sit beside him. He held out his arms to let Pierce know comfort was being offered. Pierce accepted it gratefully. He cuddled up to Fletcher until he felt himself relax. Finally he pulled out of Fletcher’s arms and sat cross-legged next to him.

“I’m sorry I didn’t believe you, Tom. And I’m so sorry I put you in the position where you had to carry out Billy’s orders. I don’t know what’s gotten into me lately. I get the feeling like I’m going to explode at times, and I miss Billy so much. God I wish he’d come home!” Tears threatened to spill again.

Fletcher reached out a finger to brush away the silent tear that was running down Pierce’s cheek. “Look, Robert, it’s no wonder you’re tense. You’re about to go public with your way of life. But remember you don’t have to go through it alone. When Billy is away and you find yourself unable to sleep or you’re just feeling lonely, pick up the phone. My partner or I will be more than happy to come over and keep you company.”

“You wouldn’t mind?”

“Of course not, little one. What’s a surrogate Top for if not to be there when needed?”

“Oh, Tom, what would I do without you? Thank you! I think I’ll be fine now. Besides, Billy is coming home tomorrow night and things are starting to look up.”

“I’ll be calling him tonight, Robert, and you know I have to inform him of what took place here?”

“I figured as much. But it’s okay because I was going to tell him myself so don’t worry about it. In the meantime, I better get back to work on that speech now.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Robert Pierce took a deep breath to help calm his nerves as he waited for the huge oak doors to open. Doors that would admit him into the chamber where the members of the Senate and Congress were waiting for his first State of the Union Address of his second term. It was going to be one of the shortest speeches in the history of the State of the Union Addresses. He knew what he was going to tell this group of distinguished individuals, and the American people, was going to shock them to the bone. He was preparing for the onslaught of criticism and disbelieve that was going to echo throughout the chamber and no doubt throughout the country and perhaps the world, but he wasn’t going back down on what had to be done. After the Presidential election he had made his mind up to come out and he was very pleased that his Top not only supported him in his decision, he too was going to come out. He closed his eyes and said a silent prayer as he heard a strong powerful voice ring out.

“Madam Speaker, The President of the United States.”

The huge doors opened and President Pierce began the short walk to the podium where he would deliver his Address. He took the time to shake hands with supporters from both parties as he made his way to the front. When he arrived at he podium he turned to the Speaker of the House and shook her hand and handed her a copy of his speech. He repeated the action with Vice President Fletcher. When everyone was re-seated, the Speaker of the House stood and once again announced.

“Members of the Senate and Congress, it is my distinct pleasure to present the President of the United States.”

As the group stood up to applaud once more, Pierce took the opportunity to look up to his left at the box that was designated for the First Lady. Of course, because of their divorce, Elizabeth Pierce was not there. Sitting in the seat of honor was Pierces’ Top and lover, Billy Walker. He was with Tom Fletcher’s Brat and many members of various Gay Right groups from throughout the country. Billy smiled down at him and gave him a little wink. Seeing his Top sitting there was all Pierce needed. It was suddenly like a security blanket was wrapped around him, protecting him from all who would dare to harm or criticize.

All were seated when he looked back and with one more deep breath he began to speak.

“Madam Speaker, Vice-President Fletcher, members of the Senate and Congress, distinguished guests, fellow citizens. Every year, by law and custom, we meet here to consider the State of the Union. This year we gather in this chamber facing a new term and a new mandate.

As promised during the Presidential campaign, and with your help and cooperation I plan on reforming many domestic programs and laws that are vital to our country and our way of life.

This country has many challenges and I will confront them with focus, clarity and courage.

During my last term, we have seen what can be accomplished when we work together. The Education Bill was passed that will ensure every child in every state will be given the highest standard of education as is their right to receive. In order to bring our economy out of a recession, a major tax bill was passed. Tough reforms were also passed in the areas of Law Enforcement and Security.

Some may call this a good record. I call it a good start. As you all know after the Inauguration, the former First Lady and I announced our decision to divorce. Last week we signed the final papers and I want to take this opportunity on behalf of Elizabeth and myself to thank the American People for their understanding and their support. Your acceptance of our decision made things a lot easier on us.

Now, I know all of you are expecting me to lay out my plans for the reforms I mentioned, and promised, to address during the campaign, but I am not prepared to do that at this time. What I am going to speak to you about this evening is a very personal matter, I have decided I can no longer keep to myself.

As some of you may be aware, during one of the Presidential Debates the subject of gay marriage was discussed and I made it quite clear I was behind that law being passed in the Senate and Congress.

I have very personal reason’s for seeing this bill passed.” Pierce felt his voice begin to crack as his emotions rose at what he was about to say. “I want everyone listening this evening to know I am gay.”

As suspected a universal gasp could be heard then complete silence, as shock and comprehension filled the minds of the people sitting before him.

“I have known I was gay for a very long time now, but I also knew that if I had any chance of making it in the political arena I would have to live a lie. I can no longer do that!” President Pierce continued. “Being gay will not effect the way I govern this country nor how I represent it on the world stage. Coming out tonight will only strengthen my resolve and my commitment. Because now that my secret is out, I can be fully honest with myself and with the American People who elected me to this great office. I feel like a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders, enabling me to live the life I was meant to live.

I realize there are those in this room and around the country who will turn against me and do what they can to see that I am removed from office. To them I say, give it your best shot. I am prepared to meet every challenge, to contend every argument and prove to everyone that sexual preference had nothing to do with how one conducts his daily life or their commitment to what is moral and just in our society.

Madam Speaker, I thank you for this opportunity and in closing I leave you all with the hope that all of you will be as happy in your lives as I am now in mine. I have found that special someone who has made my life complete and whole. Someone who has filled my heart with more love that I ever thought it could hold. He has given me permission to tell everyone about our relationship. So I am very pleased and proud to announce that Mr. William Walker will be moving into the White House to live with me.”

Another gasp was heard and in unison heads snapped to look up into the box where Walker sat. Walker held up his head with pride and to everyone’s shock and amazement, he blew a kiss down to Pierce.

With moist eyes Pierce continued, “He will take on the duties that the First Lady would usually handle and I hope he receives the respect and support he deserves. We love each other very much and with Bill by my side, I will do my best to uphold my duties as your President. Thank you.”

Without another word President Pierce turned towards the Speaker and held out his hand. He wasn’t sure if it would be accepted but without hesitation, the speaker took his hand in both of hers and gave it a supportive squeeze. Tom Fletcher did the same as he shook Pierce’s hand as well. Pierce then, instead of taking the usual route back down the aisle, exited through the back door. The Secret Service led him to the awaiting limo where he sat in anxious anticipation for his Top. Before long he witnessed Walker stepping out into the cold air and making his way to the car.

As the car spend towards the White House, Walker took his Brat into his arms and held the trembling body close.

“Oh, Slugger. I am so proud of you and when we get home I’m going to show you how much I love you.”

“Billy, I love you so much and I can’t wait to lay beside you in our bed and to give myself over to you.”

They kissed deeply, their tongues fighting for dominance. As they approached the White House gates they broke the kiss but stayed in each other’s arms.

In the elevator leading up to the private residence, they began to kiss again. Their hands were all over each other. The doors opened and taking Pierce’s hand, Walker led the way to their bedroom. He opened the door and like a groom on his wedding night, he picked Pierce up in his arms and carried him over the thresh hold. Once inside he quickly removed his Brat’s clothing, guided him to the bed and gently laid him down in the center with his arms and legs splayed wide. Walker moved to the foot of the bed and looked down at his lover with deep intensity and focus.

Pierce returned the look, wondering when Walker was going to come to him and do the things that drove him crazy with desire. But Walker only stood there for a moment before he began to slowly undress, making Pierce wait for it. Then Walker was on the bed next to him. Pierce felt fingers glide down his chest until his nipples were being fondled and plucked until they turned into tight little buds.
With his mouth, Walker began to suck, bite and lick his way over Pierce’s body, teasing and coaxing a response from him. Pierce gave out a loud moan and he felt Walker’s mouth encase his penis, taking him to the brink of release again and again, stopping before he came.

Walker smiled as he heard his lover beg. “Please….oh please, Billy, give me release.” Shaking his head at his Brat, he directed his fingers to start all over again, bringing Pierce to such a state that he was sobbing uncontrollably with pleasure.
Walker placed himself between the bucking legs of his lover and looked down into the steely blue eyes. “Do you want me Robbie?” he whispered as he planted his hands on either side of Pierce’s hips and leaned down to blow on the tip of the erect penis. “Do you want me inside you?”

“Oh God, yes! Yes, Billy, do I ever! Please, take me now, make love to me. Now, I beg you!”

Walker reached over to the night stand for the lubricant and after placing Pierce’s legs on his shoulders, first coated his own penis with the jelly then placed a huge glob on his finger and inserted it into Pierce’s rectum. For a few minutes he fingered his lover in order to prepare him for the final act of love. Once he was sure Pierce was ready, he slowly inserted his penis into the opening. He held securely onto Pierce’s hips setting a rhythm that Pierce soon matched. As he quickened the pace, Walker slipped one of his hands between their bodies and took Pierce’s erect penis in it. He met every stroke with a matching thrust and soon they were both screaming out their ecstasy. When it was over they lay in each other’s arms, both deep in their own thoughts. Pierce broke the silence first.

“Billy, how do you think the American People and the men and women in that chamber tonight will react to my news?

“I’m not 100% sure, Slugger. But however they react, we will face it together because we are now officially a couple and that’s what couple’s do. Love and support each other in good times and in bad.”

“For better or worse, eh. Billy?” Pierce asked with amusement in his voice.

“You got it, Slugger. In good times and in bad until death do us part.”

“Have I told you lately how much I love you, Billy.”

“Yeah, I believe you have. But tell me again. That’s one thing I’ll never get tired of hearing and it’s the one thing I’ll never stop telling you. Now come here and let me show you once more how much I love you.”

They made love once more then fell asleep in each other’s arms confident that the state of their union was strong and whatever the future held for them, they would handle it together.

THE END
